Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi have many acres of farmland that birds and other wildlife call home. By developing partnerships, training opportunities, management plans, and demonstration sites, the region's initiatives and programs provide landowners with the tools to enhance their property cost-effectively while supporting struggling populations of priority bird species. One of them is Audubon Arkansas, whose sites Putting Working Lands to Work for Birds and People brings the community together. The Audubon Deltas wants farmers, ranchers, and forest owners to be conservation partners to benefit birds across the state.
