Audubon Arkansas staff and Board congratulate our former Executive Director Ellen Fennell, who was inducted into the Arkansas Outdoor Hall of Fame at a banquet on August 24. After working for The Nature Conservancy and Winrock International, Ellen joined Audubon Arkansas as our first Development Director in 2002. Among her many accomplishments was helping to raise more than $4M to renovate the building that is now the Little Rock Audubon Center. She was promoted to Executive Director in 2010, and lead our team until her retirement in 2013. We appreciate all she has done for Audubon and the environment in Arkansas, and her continuning support for our programs. 

Audubon Arkansas board and staff are pleased to continue the many initiatives led by Ellen during her time with Audubon. Join us in honoring her conservation legacy through a gift to Audubon Arkansas to help support these efforts in 2018 and beyond. She will be notified of all gifts made in her honor.
